In December 2011, SM Entertainment announced the formation of a new pop group called EXO. 2013: First album
A year after their debut, the group returned to the music scene with their first full-length album. The album was titled "XOXO ~Kiss&Hug~". In addition to new tracks, the album includes two songs: "My Lady", "Baby, Don't Cry", which viewers could hear in the debut teaser videos of the members. On July 15, the group premiered the first episode of the drama's music video, and the second episode aired on September 4. 2014: Overdose era
The group's comeback with their 2nd mini-album "Overdose" was scheduled for April 15, 2014, but due to the Sewol ferry tragedy, the group's comeback only took place on May 7.
On May 15, 2014, EXO-M member and subgroup leader Chris (Wu Yifan) filed a lawsuit to terminate his contract. At the moment, the problem with the contract has not been resolved, and Yifan is engaged in solo activities.
